project user groups (pugs)

Project User Groups (PUGs) are a key consultation forum between the Integrated Project Team and clinical stakeholders and form part of the governance for the RPA Hospital Redevelopment.

The membership of each PUG is selected to ensure a broad representation of stakeholders from within the service and are made up of RPA Hospital staff, clinicians, consumers, community and Aboriginal representatives.

RPA PUGs aim to achieve the following:

  • Generate clinical and operational planning input for the design process
  • Provide feedback on health delivery matters
  • Represent the interests of the departments potentially included in the redevelopment
  • Identify representatives who provide a conduit of information to, from and for the broader workforce
  • Work collaboratively with the Integrated Project Team.
PUGs for the redevelopment are currently underway to ensure the RPA Hospital is purpose-built to meet the healthcare needs of patients, staff and the broader community.

All clinicians and operational staff are welcome to participate in the planning of the RPA Hospital Redevelopment and are encouraged to contact their PUG representative to provide input.
